Latoya Lake-Marshall

La Toya Lake-Marshall, a native of the twin island state of Antigua & Barbuda, is a graduate of the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City. Graduating in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice, she specialised in forensics, police studies, criminology, and law. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in criminal justice with a concentration in criminal investigations. Mrs. Lake-Marshall worked in Antigua for eighteen (18) years as a criminologist and forensic crime scene expert in the Royal Police Force of Antigua & Barbuda. Notably, she played a pivotal role in establishing the first crime scene investigation unit within the force and oversaw the processing of over two thousand (2000) crime scenes during her tenure. In December 2018, she was appointed as the Forensics Director in the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis, where she has been instrumental in leading the Forensic Department of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF). An active member of the Caribbean Association of Forensic Specialists (CAFS), Mrs. Lake-Marshall is dedicated to improving forensic capabilities and promoting a culture of excellence within her department.
