The Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the area of Buckley’s Housing on St. Kitts, that resulted in the injury of Anthony Clive Grant of La Guerite, St. Kitts. The criminal act was committed on May 16th, 2024 between 9AM and 10AM.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that while walking through an empty lot, Mr Grant was accosted by an armed and masked assailant who fired several times in his direction. Mr Grant escaped the attack, but sustained wounds to the left hip and thigh. He was shortly thereafter transported to the Joseph N. France General Hospital by private vehicle where he underwent treatment for his injuries.
The Crime Scene Unit of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) processed the scene and collected some items of evidential value. The general public will be kept appropriately abreast of the investigation into the incident.
