Romeo Browne of Hermitage Village, Cayon, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offences of Possession of an Illegal Firearm and Possession of Ammunition, committed on December 15th, 2024.

Having previously pleaded guilty to both charges on June 24th, 2025, Mr. Browne was sentenced to six (6) years imprisonment. Time spent on remand will be applied to his sentence, and he will be eligible for remission after serving two-thirds of the term, contingent upon good behaviour. His sentence was handed down by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley KC, at the High Court in Basseterre, St. Kitts, on October 7th, 2025.

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force is resolute in its stance that illegal firearm possession will be met with the full force of the law, as we continue to safeguard the peace and security of our Federation.
