Akeem Sage of Central Fiennes Avenue, and Prince Patterson of Wades Garden, both in Basseterre, St. Kitts, have been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison in connection with two armed robberies committed in St. Kitts in 2023.
Both men were indicted for two (2) counts of robbery each; one at The Grocery Store, Cayon Street, committed on April 23rd, 2023; and the other at Good World Chinese Supermarket, Trafalgar Road, committed on May 10th, 2023. Mr Sage was sentenced to nine (9) years imprisonment for the first robbery and twelve (12) years imprisonment for the second. Mr Patterson was sentenced to eight (8) years imprisonment for the first robbery and ten (10) years imprisonment for the second.
The sentences will run concurrently, with time on remand and one-third remission to be deducted in accordance with prison policy. Both men were sentenced at the St. Christopher High Court in Basseterre on October 29th, 2025, by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley KC.
