The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Buckley’s area, St. Kitts, between 12 AM and 12:30 AM on April 14th, 2026. The victim has been identified as Jovan Hodge, age twenty-eight (28), of Buckley’s Estate.
Preliminary investigations indicate that Mr Hodge was in the vicinity of his residence when he was accosted and pursued by one or more armed assailants. He sustained gunshot wounds to the chest, back, right arm, and left foot. Mr Hodge was able to make his way to the Joseph N. France General Hospital, where he received medical treatment. He is currently warded in stable condition.
The scene was processed by the Crime Scene Unit of the RSCNPF, and some items of evidential value were collected. Investigations into this matter are ongoing and further updates will be appropriately provided as they become available. The RSCNPF is appealing to anyone with information that may assist in this investigation to contact the nearest police station or report anonymously via Crime Stoppers at 707.
