Basseterre, St. Kitts, July 7, 2026 — An autopsy has been conducted on the body of the late Keshawn Akiel Merchant of Pond Hill, Nevis.
The examination was performed on June 30, 2026, at the Alexandra Hospital morgue by resident pathologist Dr. Adrian Nunez.
Following the examination, Dr. Nunez concluded that Mr. Merchant’s cause of death was severe injuries to the head and chest sustained as a result of a motor vehicle accident.
Mr. Merchant was involved in a traffic accident on June 23, 2026, after he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with a wall along Old Hospital Road, Nevis.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force extends sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Merchant during this difficult time.
