Shakeem Carty has been convicted and fined for the offences of Threatening Language, Throwing Missiles, and Malicious Damage, all committed on April 20th, 2026. Having pleaded guilty to the offences, he was convicted and fined five hundred dollars (XCD $500) each for the offences of Threatening Language and Throwing Missiles; and one thousand dollars (XCD $1000) for the offence of Malicious Damage. All fines are set to be paid by November 16th, 2026, in default of which he would serve thirty (30) days’ imprisonment.
Mr Carty’s sentence was handed down at the District “B” Magistrate’s Court on October 16th, 2026, by Her Honour Mrs Karen Hill-Hector.
