At a sitting of the Basseterre Magistrate’s Court on July 25, 2024, presided over by Her Honor Sherry-Ann Liburd-Charles, the following cases were heard, and sentences handed down:
1. Kezzia Daniel of New Road:
• Convicted and fined $750.00 to be paid in 2 months or face 14 days imprisonment for driving without due care and attention on 31st March 2023.
2. Nathaniel Huggins of Parson’s:
• Convicted and fined $500 to be paid in 1 month or face 14 days imprisonment for driving without due care and attention on 9th September 2023.
3. Timothy Martin Jr. of Irish Town:
• Convicted and fined $500 to be paid in 1 month or face 14 days imprisonment for driving without due care and attention on 23rd January 2024.
4. Damier Hazel of Millionaire St.:
• Convicted and fined $100 to be paid by 26th July 2024 or face 7 days imprisonment for driving without appropriate headgear on 31st July 2022.
• Convicted and fined $400 to be paid by 26th July 2024 or face 7 days imprisonment for driving without a relevant license on 31st July 2022.
5. Desmond Connor of St. Paul’s:
• Convicted and fined $2000.00 to be paid in 3 months or face 30 days imprisonment for driving without due care and attention on 10th November 2022.
