BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, August 12, 2024. Autopsies were performed on August 12, 2024, at JNF Hospital Mortuary on the bodies of the late, 30-year-old Devon Parris and 9-year-old J' Marni Smithen, both of Craddock Road, Nevis. The autopsies were performed by resident pathologists Dr. Adrian Nunez and Dr. Naudica Philip.
Dr. Philip and Dr. Nunez determined that both individuals died as a result of severe cranioencephalic trauma due to gunshot wounds to the head.
The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force again extends its condolences to the families affected by this tragic incident and assures the public that the investigation is ongoing.
