Makeel Marryshaw of Shear Lane, Basseterre, St. Kitts, has received a sentenced of nine (9) years at His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Robbery. The criminal offence was committed on March 5th, 2022, at Princes Street, Basseterre, and Mr Marryshaw was charged on April 5th, 2022, and remanded to the Prison.
Mr Marryshaw pleaded guilty to the charge on January 21st, 2025. He was then sentenced on March 6th, 2025, by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC, at the High Court in Basseterre. Per the sentencing guidelines, time spent on remand will count towards his sentence.
