Sylvester ‘Gangster People’ Boone of Upper Market Street, Basseterre, St. Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Building Breaking and Larceny. The criminal act was committed on January 19th, 2024, at Fort Thomas Road, Basseterre.
Mr Boone pleaded guilty to the charge on March 3rd, 2025, and on April 15th, 2025, he was sentenced to twenty-two (22) months imprisonment. His time spent remanded will be counted as time served and he will be eligible for remission having served two-thirds of his sentence with good behaviour.
The sentence was handed down at the High Court in Basseterre by His Lordship Justice Iain Morley, KC.
