On July 14th, 2025, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) was honoured to welcome a distinguished delegation from Anguilla to St. Kitts. After meeting with Prime Minister the Hon. Dr Terrance Drew, the delegation met with the High Command of the RSCNPF to engage in meaningful dialogue on policing strategy, innovation, and regional collaboration.

Representing the RSCNPF at the meeting were Commissioner of Police James Sutton; Deputy Commissioner Cromwell Henry; Assistant Commissioners Andre Mitchell, James Francis, and Travis Rogers; Force Finance Officer Katya Laws; Force Personnel Officer Eartha Carey; and Communications Officer for the Ministry of National Security and RSCNPF Public Relations Officer Lesleigh Joseph. The St. Kitts-Nevis Defence Force was represented by Captains Jervin Lapsley and Jason Maloney. Also in attendance was Glenroy Blanchette, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security.

The Anguillan delegation included Her Excellency the Governor Julia Crouch; Hon. Cora Richardson-Hodge, Honourable Premier; Hon. Tara Carter, Speaker of the Anguilla House of Assembly; Hon. Shellya Rogers Webster, Minister of Education, Library Services, Social Development and Youth and Culture; Dr the Honourable Ellis Webster, Leader of the Opposition; Dr Bonnie Richardson Lake, Permanent Secretary in Education, Library Services, Social Development and Youth and Culture; Mr Shem Wills, Superintendent of Police; Mrs Hyacinth Augustine-Bradley, Community Services Planner; and Mr Rickiell Hodge, Director of Media and Communication.

The visit served as an invaluable opportunity to explore the policing strategies, technologies, and community-driven approaches that have contributed to the Federation’s notable decline in violent crime. The conversations were rich, constructive, and reaffirmed a shared regional vision for peace and public safety.

The High Command was deeply moved by the kind commendations offered by the Anguillan delegation, particularly in recognition of the Force’s CCTV technology upgrades and strategic efforts in crime prevention. These acknowledgements serve as both validation and inspiration for the men and women of the Force.

The RSCNPF takes great pride in knowing that the diligence, discipline, and dedication of its officers are now being viewed as a model by fellow Caribbean nations. It is a testament to the power of perseverance and the value of evidence- and intelligence-led policing. The Force wholeheartedly welcomes continued engagement and future collaboration with sister law enforcement agencies across the region and diaspora. Strengthening bonds through knowledge-sharing and strategic dialogue remains essential in the collective quest to ensure safe, stable, and thriving societies for all.
