Rscnpf Provides Update On High Command Leave Structure

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) is aware of a malicious publication currently in circulation alleging that members of the High Command are being forced into leave under the guise of an internal probe. This assertion is false and misleading.

The current leave arrangements involving members of the High Command form part of a structured leave management initiative, implemented to address the accumulation of earned vacation leave. The accumulation of leave balances is largely attributable to extended periods of sustained operational demand, during which senior leadership maintained continuous oversight and engagement to support national security priorities.

As part of responsible workforce management, the structured utilisation of accrued leave is both necessary and appropriate to ensure personnel readiness, maintain operational efficiency, and prevent further accumulation that could impact long-term staffing continuity. The leave now being taken is planned and scheduled in accordance with established human resource policies and practices. There is no internal probe, no forced removal, and no directive requiring resignations.

The RSCNPF remains fully operational and functionally stable while continuing to execute its mandate without disruption. The High Command continues to provide effective oversight to ensure the safety and security of the Federation, with command responsibility clearly defined and appropriate measures in place to maintain the seamless continuity of leadership and service delivery during this period.

The public is encouraged to rely on official communication channels for accurate and verified information regarding the operations and administration of the organisation.
