The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force wishes to remind all motorcyclists and other individuals holding learner’s permits that these permits expired on December 31, 2024.
Please note that the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) will remain closed on January 1 and 2, 2025, in observance of the public holidays. The department will reopen for business on January 3, 2025, and individuals are strongly encouraged to renew their permits promptly to ensure compliance with the law.
Motorcyclists, in particular, are urged to prioritize the renewal of their permits as soon as the offices reopen.
While the police will exercise discretion during this brief period, (Jan 1 and 2) permit holders are reminded that operating without a valid learner’s permit is against the law and should take steps to address this matter at the earliest opportunity.
