Motorists Advised To Remove Excess Licence Stickers From Their Windscreens

The accumulation of licence stickers on windscreens, presents a safety risk to drivers. It creates a visual obstruction zone, particularly when scanning for pedestrians, cyclists, or vehicles approaching from the left or when navigating intersections. The driver’s field of vision extends across this area during routine situational checks, and any obstruction may impair timely hazard detection.

In addition, the presence of multiple stickers creates difficulty for law enforcement officers in quickly verifying valid licences, as it complicates identification and may lead to delays or errors during roadside checks.

Drivers are therefore advised to remove excess stickers from their windscreens in such circumstances.

As a general standard, only the current license sticker should be displayed at any given time.
