Chelston Hanley of Newtown, St Kitts, has been sentenced to His Majesty’s Prison for the offence of Larceny, committed on February 1st, 2024. Mr Hanley pleaded guilty to the charge on January 20th, 2025, and was sentenced on January 27th, 2025.
Mr Hanley entered a guilty plea on January 20th, 2025, and was sentenced on January 27th, 2025. Initially facing a three-year sentence, one (1) year was deducted from Mr Hanley’s sentence for his guilty plea, and an additional six (6) months was deducted for time already served on remand. Consequently, he will serve a total of eighteen (18) months.
Mr Hanley’s sentencing was handed down by Her Honour Rhonda Nisbett-Browne at the Magistrate’s Court in Basseterre, St. Kitts.
