Rscnpf Welcomes Home Pc Trevon Gaskin From Training In Uae

13 Feb, 2025 02:02 PMAdmin

We're thrilled to welcome home PC Trevon Gaskin, who recently completed a training course at the Abu Dhabi Police College, thanks to a partnership between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Association of Caribbean Commissioners.

Over the past four (4) months, from October 2024 to February 2025, PC Gaskin immersed himself in a comprehensive training program that covered four key areas: physical fitness, drilling, academic studies, and marksmanship. The course also featured innovative virtual reality simulations for law enforcement and safety training, emphasising evidence-based investigations.

PC Gaskin proudly earned a Level 5 certificate from the National Qualification Centre in Advanced Police Science, joining participants from twenty-nine (29) other countries in this transformative experience.

Reflecting on his time abroad, PC Gaskin expressed immense satisfaction, noting how living in a different culture deeply enriched him both personally and professionally. He developed a deeper appreciation for life and policing in St. Kitts and Nevis and is eager to share his knowledge as well as encourage his fellow officers to seize similar training opportunities.

Commissioner of Police James Sutton extended heartfelt congratulations to PC Gaskin, expressing deep pride in his achievements. He reaffirmed his commitment to empowering every officer under his command, promoting personal and professional development while serving our nation.

The RSCNPF is immensely grateful to the UAE for this invaluable ongoing partnership. Help us celebrate PC Gaskin's accomplishments and his dedication to making our communities safer!
