Rscnpf Hosts Awards And Recognition Ceremony Under The Theme “stronger Together: Honouring Service & Empowering Community”

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) held its Awards and Recognition Ceremony on May 24th, 2025, under the timely theme: “Stronger Together: Honouring Service & Empowering Community.”

In attendance were a number of esteemed guests and dignitaries, including: Her Excellency Dame Marcella Liburd, GCMG, JP, Governor-General of St. Kitts and Nevis; Hon. Dr Terrance Drew, Prime Minister and Minister of National Security; Right Honourable Dr Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs; His Excellency Michael Lin, Republic of China–Taiwan Ambassador to St. Kitts and Nevis; Mr Glenroy Blanchette, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security; Mr James Sutton, Commissioner of Police; Mr Cromwell Henry, Deputy Commissioner of Police; Ms Katya Laws, Force Finance Officer; Assistant Commissioners of Police James Francis, Travis Rogers, and Andre Mitchell, alongside members of the rank and file of the RSCNPF.

The event was chaired by Force Personnel Officer, Ms Eartha Carey, and featured keynote remarks from His Lordship Justice Patrick Thompson, Jr., whose address called for renewed commitment to service excellence, professional integrity, and community-centred policing.

The evening paid tribute to the exceptional dedication, professionalism, and courage demonstrated by officers and support staff throughout the past two years. The event was well received and marked by moments of sincere appreciation, collective pride, and renewed motivation for officers across all divisions.

For the year 2023, a total of fifteen (15) officers, two (2) civilian staff, one (1) Island Constable, and one (1) Traffic Warden were recognised for exemplary service. For the year 2024, twenty-two (22) officers, one (1) Island Constable, and one (1) civilian staff member received awards for their outstanding performance and commitment to duty.

Among the most distinguished awardees were: 

  1. No. 155 PC Julius Wyatt, who was awarded: 

- Most Outstanding Constable in the Special Services Unit (2023)

- Tactical Officer of the Year (2023 and 2024)

- Most Outstanding Constable in the Operations Directorate (2023)

- Constable of the Year (2023)

  1. No. 370 PC Stefan Modeste, who received:

- Most Outstanding Constable in the Traffic Department (2024)

- Traffic Officer of the Year (2024)

- Most Outstanding Constable in the Operations Directorate (2024)

- Constable of the Year (2024)

The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force extends sincere congratulations to all awardees and honourees. As the Force continues to evolve in its mandate to serve and protect, moments such as these stand as vital reminders that dedication, integrity, and service to community remain at the heart of policing.
